LESSON PATHWAYS

Subtractive Synthesis

VCO, VCF, VCA! What does it all mean? This learning pathway walks you through the wonderful world of analog subtractive synthesis, making relatable metaphors and analogies along the way to wrap your brain around the way most analog synthesizers work.

Sequencing

Everything has a pattern. This learning pathway introduces you to the art of sequencing based on practical examples. We look at a given sequence's relationship to rhythm, showing you how to locate yourself and how to achieve simple or complex sequences, depending on your goals.

Drum Programming

The art of number. This learning pathway introduces you to a brief history of drum programming, and we go in-depth with classic rhythm examples to get you started, and then explore different sounds, patterns, and methodologies to unleash your inner drum-programmer.
